Tisreo-Clams or khube curry

One of my best liked dishes in Seafood.......
Ingredients :
50/100 clams
2 tbspn grated coconut
1 onion chopped
2 tbsp ginger -garlic-green chillies paste
2 tsp garam masala
1 tbspn tamrind pulp
1 tsp turmuric powder
1 tsp red chilly power

Preparation : Clean the clams keep one side shell or you can only keep the meat. Fry grated coconut and onion in 1 tsp oil and make fine paste ,keep aside.Heat oil in kadai, add green paste, Coconut-onion paste,
turmuric,red chilly powder,garam masala and salt and saute for about 10 minutes, Now the cleaned and washed clames and saute for 5 minutes more add 2 cups water and let it boil for 5 mins more.Last add tamrinf pup and let the graved thicken a bit. Serve hot with rice or rice roti.

Squids Chilly calamari

Ingredients:
6 small squids cleaned and washed
5/8 dried red chillies
12 cloves of garlic finely chopped
5 tsp of oil /butter can be used according to once preference
grounded pepper
Salt to taste

Preparation: Slice the squids into circles about 1/2 inch thick. Heat oil in kadai ,fry red chillies and garlic
till light brown. Add squds and saute for about 10 minutes till opaque.Add Salt and pepper.You can add a dash of butter for more taste.

have with cold beer on hot day, cheer!!!!

Maharashtra Special Bata Vada

Dear friends,

We all know Vada-Pav is one of Indians favorite dish. In Maharashtra People make living selling vada-pav as it is one of affordable dish for any individual. And most importantly it is liked by all the kids ,the old people , youngster everybody.It can be easily prepared at home on weekends for childrens birthday party or a kitty party or just a family-friends gettogether. So what are we waiting for are u all ready lets get started.........





Ingredients :

1/2 kg Potato
5/6 green chillies
10.12 cloves garlic pods
1 inch ginger
fresh coriander
1 tsp mustard seed (rai)
1 tsp asafoetida (hing)
150 gms Gram flour (Besan)
Salt
Oil for frying

Fresh Pav from bakery :)

Method :
 Boil and mash potatoes, grind chillies,garlic ,ginger, fresh coriander to fine paste. add this paste to mash potaoes. add salt mix well and keep aside.Take a bowl take gram flour add salt and hing and add water to make thick and creamy batter. add aspoonful of oil to this batter. Heat oil in a kadai. make lemonsize balls from potato mixture or slightly biger and deep fry on medium flame .serve with hot Pav and chutney of ur choice.

Quick Snacks

Hi friends ,
sorry for not being in touch for long time got busy with other stuff.
I would like to share some quick receipes which wont take much of ur time and will be like by
family and friends.How about some chat for a start.So lets get started.




Bhelpuri
 Ingredients :

1) 1pkt Puffed Rice or Kurmura
2) 1/4 kg Sev ( Yellow thin sev u get ready made in shop )
3) 100gm Roasted peanuts
4) small bunch fresh finely chopped corriander
5) 5/6 puries crushed
6) roasted chana dal
7) 1tbsp green chutney
8) 3tsp sweet chutney
9) 2 tomatoes finely chopped

Take a clean Bowl mix all dry ingredients  mix well .Add green chutney and sweet chutney according to ur taste buds . Garnish with chopped corriander, chopped tomatoes and crushed dry puris. Mix well again . Bhelpuri is ready to be served.

Note: for green chutney : use 4/5 green chilles, fresh coriander,fresh pudina,salt.
               Sweet chutney : Use lemon size tamrin,jaggery (gud ). few dates ,1 tsp jeera pwd .and grind to fine paste.

Quick and tasty receipes

Hi friends ,
how about trying some quick and tasty receipes. I m a foodie and love trying different dishes at home ,we all get bored eating the same roti sabji dal chawl everyday but what if u try some snack one weekend for a change.

Dahi - Vada :

Ingredients :

2 cups Urad Dal soak overnight
1 pcs ginger finely chopped
2 tsp jeera
1 small cup fresh coconut finely chopped
1 Kg curds
1-2 tsp red chilly Pwd
Fresh Corriender for garnishing
salt to taste
50gm Sugar
Oil for frying

Method :

Grind the Urad dal in mixie to fine thick paste. add finely chopped ginger, coconut,jeera and salt. Keep oil for frying vadas on gas. fry small vadas on medium heat till golden brown.Take a bowl of water . Put the fried vadas in water immediately . On other hand beat the curd with sugar, red chilly powder and little salt to taste. Sqeeze water out of vadas put in water and transfer to beaten curds or Dahi. garnish with chilly powder and corriander and serve chill.
